Back in 2014, when I was 13 years old, I created my first publically accessible website “Qcoded”. I uploaded some games and experiments I built in my spare time on it. Back then, HTML5 was the new and hot stuff, which everyone was talking about, so building games in it just seemed like the most natural thing I could do after all!
You can either visit the archived version on the Wayback Machine (wow, kinda impressed myself here, that I thought about doing this way back when haha):
Qcoded (archived, December 2014)
or you can visit it from my github pages instance.
The games should all work fine (hopefully?). Please feel invited into this small piece of nostalgie which I would like to share with you!
(Wondering how I manager to buy my own domain and host a website on it at 13 years of age? Lol, I used Nitrado! Back then, a large german youtuber called “Gronkh” was the talk of the playground. All the kids liked him and we watched all his YouTube videos. He hosted his gaming sessions on Nitrados servers, and afaik he also advertised for them? idk though. I just used PaySafe cards, which I could buy at local kiosks from my allowance, funneled this money into a server hosted by Nitrado and somehow also was able to secure the domain https://qcoded.de.)
